Main Building + Dorm Room
The initial phase of Saint Joseph's expansion focuses on building a secure and comfortable space for the children, ensuring they have a nurturing environment to grow and learn. Since 2023, with the building of a new boy's dorm room, the boys and girls are now sleeping separately.
Boys Dorm Room
Expanding the living space, a dedicated dormitory for boys was completed in 2023, enabling Saint Joseph's to welcome more children in need in the years to come.
Playground/Multipurpose Area
Creating a space for play and multipurpose activities is essential for the holistic development of the children. Insight Timer's teachers' support extends to constructing a vibrant playground, fostering creativity and social interaction.
Self-Sufficient Food Production
As a sustainable initiative, a fishpond project is underway, providing a reliable source of nutrition for the children. This project aligns with Insight Timer’s commitment to long-term, self-sufficient solutions for the orphanage. The rice cultivation project has already yielded 2 tons of rice, ensuring a stable food source and promoting sustainability.
Professional Skills Development
Insight Timer's teachers' impact extends beyond basic needs, contributing to skill development. The recently opened beauty school offers opportunities for vocational training, equipping older children with valuable skills. Similarly, the culinary school aims to foster independence and providing avenues for future success.
Eco-Friendly Initiatives
In a commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, Insight Timer's teachers support the implementation of solar energy, ensuring a sustainable and reliable power source for the orphanage's daily operations. In addition to this, a hydrogen gardening project has recently commenced, promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental consciousness.

Each month, these dedicated teachers contribute a portion of their earnings from Insight Timer, empowering the orphanage to provide essential needs and opportunities for a brighter future.

Saint Joseph’s has been helping children across Indonesia since 2009. First in Bali, before relocating to Timor in 2021.
